Former publishing arm of The Institute for Reiki Studies (which see).  Responsible for creation and printing of a high quality 30 page quarterly newsletter, as well as books and video/audio instructional media.  Initiated the Reiki Times Magazine project which included production of a sample issue and building a global initial subscriber base prior to its sale.  Conceived of and created a number of valuable products which were successfully marketed globally and are often still the standard for instructional use.

Xtraining.com was one of the first bootcamps for the Windows 2000 MCSE certification program. At a time when virtually no training materials existed for the program, I assembled and led teams that created an educational program that achieved a 97+% passing rate. To ensure program effectiveness and quality, I taught several of the initial courses personally. Sold interest, 2001.

Operational responsibility for SpotLink division of Applied Graphics Technologies, Inc. Oversight of primary facility in Ohio, as well as offices in other parts of the country. Direct supervisory responsibility for managers in several departments. Leadership in improved process development, including implementation of TQM management style on all levels of division.

Leadership in numerous technical projects, including pioneering digital asset management for broadcast and other media; pioneering video server and network technology for broadcasting; and the design, development, and implementation of a distributed, broadcast quality, computer based MPEG-2 delivery network for advertising agencies and broadcasters. Responsible for all additional video, audio, and information technology systems development, architecting/design, installation, training, and support.

Responsibility for due diligence on acquisition targets and prospective partners. Primary responsibility for day to day digital asset management, and broadcast media distribution for many of the country's largest advertisers including: General Motors, Disney, Columbia-Tristar, Dreamworks-SKG, Jenny Craig, Nissan, Pillsbury, Infinity, LDS, The Home Depot, etc. Fifty-one percent of the company was sold by IPG to AGT in January 1999.

Oversight of WBQC-LP.  Revamped WBQC's image including call, logo, and promotional direction.  Supervised and coordinated the addition of over 30 hours (weekly) of syndicated programming and formulated all necessary support systems to ensure smooth transition.  Cut personnel requirements through computerization and automation.  Added interns for cost effectiveness.  Personally performed and trained personnel on all station operations including:  sales, promotion, technical and production positions, information systems, remotes, traffic, etc.

Institute for Reiki Studies

Executive Director

§     Directed first organized coordination of scientific research into Usui Shiki Royho

§     Taught and lectured worldwide

§     Wrote many of the initial research reports and in-depth articles on Reiki

§     Hired, developed and oversaw staff members and Institute approved trainers worldwide

The Institute was dedicated to research into and education regarding the traditional Japanese healing art of Usui Shiki Royho (Reiki - in English).  The mission of the Institute was two fold.  First, coordination of scientific research into Reiki.  Second, public education and awareness of the techniques.  To this end, workshops and lectures were organized worldwide for educational outreach.  Knowledge of the techniques had previously been kept by a handful of people in the United States and Japan.  A key mission of the Institute was to raise public awareness of Reiki and disseminate the techniques more widely.  As a result of the efforts of the Institute and a similar research and training center, Reiki is now widely studied and used.

Audio, camera, and lighting engineer for daily ‘Live at 5’ newscast.   Primary crew member for news pre-production including packages, graphic stills, etc.

Remote crew member for remote newscasts including large town hall meetings.  Crew duties included technical director, audio one, camera, and tape operations.

Periodic duties for master control operations and technical direction of live news headlines.
